Product Details

The HT Enterprises Ice Rigger gives ice anglers a dependable way to run their favorite rod-and-reel combo like a trap, making it easier to watch multiple holes for panfish, walleye, trout, or pike. After dropping a jig or live bait to depth, the rod sits in the holding tube with the line clipped into the release, and a fish strike snaps the Hi-Vis flag upright so you can grab the rod and fight the fish normally. The hardwood base anchors the setup solidly on the ice, and adjustable trip tension helps match the release to light-biting crappies or harder-pulling predators, giving anglers a flexible option for mixed-species days.

  • Hardwood construction with a stable on-ice footprint
  • Adjustable trip tension for finesse or power bites
  • Hi-Vis orange flag signals strikes instantly
  • Works with standard ice rods and reels for natural hook-and-fight feel

Please note: The rod and reel combo in the image is for display purposes only and is not included

I never had so much fun ice fishing before I bought these. You start catching BIG FISH with your ice rod right away. My first trip out I caught a 9 lb largemouth and the biggest crappie I ever saw. They are difficult to use if the conditions are really bad and the ice is building but if the ice is melting they are great for ice out time. They usually need a little tweaking to work right. I had to change the rod holder location on one because the flag kept hitting the rod. You have to use an anchor to keep them in place that is what the eye on the back is for or they could fall in the hole rod and all. They seem to work better because the bait can swim more freely with braided line on your rod then they can swim when attached to tipup line. Plus you can use lighter split shots to get them to go down and that is why they catch more fish than tipups because the bait can swim around instead of just hanging out in one spot. PEACE
