    I love this rod it makes fishing super fun when fishing for trout or panfish and is super comfortable while fishing my only complaint on this rod is the casting distance is not far but the comfortably and the ability to make small fish feel like you have a shark at the end of your line make up for it.

Definitely a moderate action, which is getting harder to find but I have specific situations where that’s exactly what is needed.

    The display of a rack of fishing rods at the FishUSA showroom caught my eye. What a nice-looking collection of rods. Then handling the rods I imagined what fishing with it would be like. Problem is, as an ultra-light aficionado, I already had 4 ultralight spinning rods. But I did have a void in one with longer reach, so I bought the 8-ft. version. (I've had the 10-ft. and plus noodle rods but found them a bit cumbersome). For those occasions when a longer ultra-light rod, this choice was perfect for me. (The other shorter lengths with the same aesthetics and action are available). I appreciate that the bend of the rod is not parabolic from reel seat to tip. The base of the rod has just the right stiffness, then blends perfectly to a very sensitive tip. I use it with 4-lb. line and can cast little jigs with our without a bobber, light drop-shot rigs, even lighter Ned Rigs. This is a great ultra-light rod and a joy to fish with!
